STEAMUL8 YOUR COLLAGE

STEAMUL8 WELCOMES YOU TO OUR FIRST EVER WORKSHOP

02.10.24

29 Old Ford Road London E2 9PJ

Join us on Sat Nov 02 2024 at 14:30 GMT for our first ever workshop at The Create Place! Explore your artistic expression, create your unique collage and connect with the STEAMUL8 community, built to appreciate all forms of Art created through cutting-edge STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) research.

Soyoung (founder of STEAMUL8), is a scientist who often comes across people in the STEM world who don't consider themselves as creative, and those in the art world who don't consider themselves as analytical. This inspired STEAMUL8 to bring those interested in the symbiotic relationship between the arts and STEM together, to reflect on self-perception and explore creative freedom of self-expression through our first ever collaging workshop.

You don't need any previous experience in collaging, as this workshop will be a guided and welcome opportunity where you will be surrounded and supported by like-minded individuals wanting to learn, explore and connect with eachother. You will also have the option for your piece to be featured in the next STEAMUL8 exhibtion. Check out how our debut exhibition went.

Ticket price options are available in reflection of STEAMUL8's values on accessibility to our events. Please be honest and mindful about your affordability to support our community. All materials will be provided and sourced sustainably.

If you would like to, please feel free to bring any (literally any!) additional materials that you would like to use or even share with everyone. (E.g., research images, your pictures, fashion/interior or even tech/science magazines, academic journals, poetry/ cook books, news papers, cutouts etc).

For more information, please email steamul8.ldn@gmail.com or instagram direct message on @steamul8.ldn .
